Mukesh Kumar, MD

A lifelong New Yorker, Dr. Mukesh Kumar has done all his schooling and medical training in the New York Metropolitan area. He completed his undergrad and graduate studies at City College of New York and received his medical degree at Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center where he became Chief Resident. As a comprehensive ophthalmologist, he aims to give back to the community that has given him so much. His philosophy is to teach and involve the patient in their journey to improve and maintain their vision. His other interests include traveling, hiking, and virtual reality.
