Samuel Baharestani, MD

Dr. Samuel Baharestani is a board certified ophthalmic plastic surgeon specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, tear ducts, and orbit. He has been named "Best Cosmetic Surgeon" by the Long Island Press, recognized among the best in his field by the 2021 New York Super Doctors report, and been inducted into the RealSelf Hall of Fame.

Dr. Baharestani received his MD from NYU School of Medicine. After his Internship at Lenox Hill Hospital on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, his surgical training in general eye surgery was completed at NYU Medical Center and Manhattan Eye, Ear, & Throat Hospital where he served as Executive Chief Resident and was recruited to join the faculty as a Clinical Instructor. Dr. Baharestani’s ASOPRS-accredited fellowship in aesthetic and reconstructive eyelid, tear duct, and oculofacial plastic surgery was completed at The Cincinnati Eye Institute and University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
