Evan Canellos, OD

Dr. Evan Canellos is the Director of the Brooklyn campus eye service as well as, Director of the Optometric residency program at the Department of Veteran's Affairs NY Harbor Healthcare System since 2000. Named Acting Chief, Optometry VA NY Harbor Healthcare System January 2021 through August 2021 and promoted to Chief, Optometry September 2021. He is an Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor and is involved in research in Glaucoma and Neuro-ophthalmic disease. In addition to educating his students and residents he has lectured nationally and written several articles on topics in ocular disease.
